Habitat Halton built its first home on Plains Road in Burlington.

 Habitat Halton built its second home on Danforth Avenue in Burlington

Habitat Halton built its third home on Crescent Street in Acton 

Habitat Halton built its fourth home on Queen Mary Avenue in Burlington 

Habitat Halton built 2 semi-detached homes (homes 6 & 7) on Whittaker Street in Burlington

Habitat Halton built its fifth home on Dayfoot Drive in Georgetown

Habitat Halton built 3 detached homes (homes 8,9 & 10) on John Street in Georgetown

Habitat Halton built their eleventh home on Peel Street in Acton and 2 semi-detached homes (homes 12 & 13) on Elmwood Road in Oakville.

Habitat Mississauga built its first home, a home on Earl Street in Mississauga. In January 2010 the completed house was given the ‘Affordable Home Award” in Ontario’s’ new Home Sweet Home Competition for its “green” energy efficient design, construction, optimal siting, and geothermal ground source heating.

Habitat Halton built its fourteenth home on Crescent Street in Acton

Habitat Halton refurbishes 2 condos (homes 15 & 16) on Warwick Court in Burlington

Habitat Halton built its seventeenth home on Farmstead Drive in Milton

Habitat Halton built its eighteenth home, a condo on Ironstone Drive in Burlington.

Habitat Mississauga completed their third build a full renovation of a 4 bedroom townhome on South Millway. Habitat Halton built its nineteenth home on Pembroke Drive in Oakville and built 2 condos (homes 20 & 21) on Appleby Line in Burlington.

The newly formed Habitat Halton-Mississauga built a semi-detached home, for a combined total of 26 homes, on Bronte Street South in Milton. Read more about it here.

Habitat Halton-Mississauga finished it’s largest build to date – a 13 town home complex on Plains Road East in Burlington. The project, named de Jong Lane after community volunteer and former Chairman of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), Mr. Case de Jong, was dedicated in a ceremony on December 10, 2016. Over the course of the next 4 years, Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga has plans to build 75 more homes in our community to meet the growing need for affordable housing. Check out our 3 current build projects below that will build 32 of those homes for families in need of a safe, decent and affordable place to call “home”
